The series takes a dark turn by the end of the first episode of the first season when Omni Man murders all of his comrades with his bare hands. Confused, shocked, and furious, Guardians couldn’t keep up with his strength, even when they rushed him together. Omni Man is then revealed as somewhat of a psychopath who
arrived on Earth two decades ago from an alien planet to infiltrate it. But ideology mismatch starts brewing between Mark and Nolan resulting in the final battle between the father and the son. Omni Man fails to end Invincible as he is his son and flies out of the Earth’s orbit into the unknown. Mark is left alone, and then he gradually gets healed up and takes over as the new savior of planet Earth.
