PlayerUnknown’s BattleGround(PUBG) India Pvt Ltd’s registration has started the countdown for the return of the PUBG Mobile game in India. According to company/LLP master data that is available at the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the company has been incorporated on November 21, 2020, at Bangalore, KARNATAKA, 560004, IN. It’s been mentioned as Subsidiary of Foreign Company, i.e., KRAFTON with an authorized capital of Rs. 15 lakh and Rs 5 lakh paid-up capital. Two directors have been appointed for PUBG India Pvt Ltd. Hyunil Sohn is the head of corporate development at PUBG Corp. (KRAFTON) and where KUMAR KRISHNAN IYER has directorship experience in almost ten companies including AccuWeather, the Indian subsidiaries of Spotify, and Phazr.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) body under the Indian government out of the blue on September 2 under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, banned the game in India with PUBG Mobile Lite and other 116 Chinese apps due to China’s Tencent link with the mobile apps. These apps were allegedly engaged in activities prejudicial to integrity and sovereignty, security and defense of the country, according to the Centre. When it went to get banned, it had around 50 million users.
When the news of the unbanning of PUBG as PUBG India went viral on social media this Friday, it was available for download in its APK format for a couple of hours at its official website, as reported by some users. But the link was not working and they had difficulty in downloading the file.

According to sources, the pre-registration for PUBG India has already been started in the TapTap app. As per some reports, around 3 lakhs of PUBG fans have already pre-registered themselves. There is no official notice from the PUBG India website to do s but if you want to get pre-registered then you can follow the steps listed below
- Go to the TapTap website and download the APK file of the TapTap app.
- To start using the app create an account or log in if you already have one.
- In the search bar of the app, type “PUBG Mobile-India”, and click on it.
- Now, click on the “pre-registration” button and that’s all you are done with the registration.
The PUBG corporation had reported to bring some changes in the gameplay and take some steps for security and a healthy play environment for the youth. Here are some changes that are expected to becoming

KRAFTON the parent South Korean-based PUBG Corp. company has joined up with Microsoft Azure Cloud to store the Indian users’ data in their Indian-based servers. It’s been heard that to cultivate esports, entertainment, local video game, and IT industries in India the PUBG Corporation will be investing around USD 100 million.
There would be regular verifications and audits conducted by the PUBG Corporation for the storage systems where the Indian users’ data will be saved. It’s reported that users can use their previous PUBG mobile user IDs to continue with the PUBG India app and start from where they left.
