The richest man on the earth, Founder and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos has recently announced that he is opening the first ‘Bezos Academy’ that is the first pre-school without any tuition-fee for the students from low-income families that deserve to study but can’t study due to financial problems.
This such an appreciating initiative was taken by Bezos and his foundation in order to change the life of those who can’t afford to study. The first pre-school is all set to open in Des Moines, Washington on October 19.
He shared this news through an Instagram post which mentioned that “This classroom is just the beginning. The @bezosacademy opens its doors on Oct. 19th. This one in Des Moines, WA, is the first of many free preschools that we’ll be opening for underserved children. Extra kudos to the team for figuring out how to make this happen even amidst COVID, and to Wesley Homes for stepping up with the facility.”
The nonprofit organization of Bezos also mentioned that it wants to run these pre-schools using the same principles that have helped them in taking the e-commerce giant Amazon to such heights.
This is such an impressive initiative taken by Bezos and his non-profitable organization and he was extremely appreciated by the Americans for taking such a step.
