Saudi Arabia has banned all the flights that are coming or going to India due to the increasing COVID19 cases and Korea also banned the flights coming from India due to the same reason.
For the next 14 days, there will be no flights to both the countries and its step is taken by their government in order to protect their citizens and country from the increasing risk of COVID19 in India.
In India, the COVID19 cases are increasing rapidly day by day. India is getting almost 80-90k per day but the good thing is that the recovery rate is also very high but still this number of cases is a big risk for the citizens of India.
India is in second place after the United States for the highest number of COVID19 cases and this all is happening because of the careless citizens of India who are taking this pandemic very lightly and don’t care for others.
This step was taken by Dubai, as last week the Air India Express flight failed to screen two passengers who were COVID19 positive which was a big threat to Saudi Arabia as there the COVID19 cases are very low and thus only two COVID passengers from India can risk the life of the entire country.
Saudi Arabia has applied these 14 days ban for all the visas of Indians while Korea has composed this on certain categories of Indian visa-holders traveling on chartered flights due to the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases here.
This decision of Saudi Arabia will impact at least 30 flights which were scheduled For Saudi Arabia amongst which 28 are Air India Express flights and 2 are Air India flights-that were working under the Vande Bharat mission.
But the Vande Bharat mission will not be affected by the ban imposed by Korea as no flight was scheduled to Korea for the next two weeks under the Vande Bharat mission.
We will keep informing you about all the happenings taking place in the market. If you are one of those whose flight from Saudi Arabia was scheduled in the next two weeks then you can contact the Indian Embassy and they might definitely resolve your problem.
Once this 14 days ban is lifted by both the countries then we will update that on our site, so stay connected to our site if you want to know details about all the upcoming Vande Bharat mission schedules that may be postponed or delay.
